The Party Pantry, which sold spirits for many years, was located in the building that is now William's Eatery on the corner of Corry and Dayton Streets.
This promotional measuring glass is about a hand's-length tall. It was photographed with paper
inside so the writing on one side would be more legible.

K.B.S. Sales and Service Co was an appliance store located where Design Sleep and Yoga Springs Studio now exist.
This promotional piece, advocating air conditioners, folds into fan position. On the back is a nature scene.

The dry cleaning establishment of Joe Holly Sr., was next door to what is now the Williams Eatery in the space currently occupied by "would you, could you" In A Frame.
The egg timer was a promotional handout. Note the phone number listed,
"8". Bob saw this in Joe Holly Jr.'s shop, said he'd like one, and Joe
brought this one out and gave it to Bob when Bob said he was going to
donate it to the museum.

Recently local collector Bob Parker donated some items for the Yellow Springs Historical Society Museum (open the first Saturday of the month between 1 and 4), each of which is an example of advertising promotional items for former Yellow Springs businesses.
The first of these is a button for the organization H.U.M.A.N (Help Us Make A Nation) started by Bill Chappelle and Jim Dunn for the purpose of ending racism.
