Simeon Fess:

The Yellow Springs Historical Society announces its Fall program for Sunday, Oct 2 6th “Fess Up: The Story of A Yellow Springs Political Dynasty.” To commemorate Election Day, Antioch Archivist Scott Sanders will discuss the life and career of former Antioch College president and seven term member of US Congress, Simeon D. Fess and his son, Lowell, a longtime Mayor of Yellow Springs and state legislator. The event will take place on Sunday, October 26th, 2-4 PM in the Great Room of the Yellow Springs Senior Center, 227 Xenia Ave. The event is free and open to the public.

Sunday, October 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the Yellow Springs Senior Center Great Room Antiochiana archivist Scott Sanders will give a presentation on the remarkable Fess family:

A time to thank Nina and Scott for preserving and archiving the history of Antioch College and Yellow Springs. We hope you can celebrate with us at the Grinnell Mill.
